Biography

 

Spectacular Ramona Amiri, a 24-year old Biologist from Vancouver, won the Miss World Canada pageant held on July 16th in Toronto. Ramona, who speaks English, French, Assyrian, Persian and some Spanish, is 1.70 m tall and will represent Canada during the Miss World 2005 pageant in China, where she will try to win the first crown for her country.

The 1st runner-up was Christina Walls from Salt

رامونا اميري  كانديداي دختر شايسته كانادا از ونكوور در رقابتهاي دختر شايسته كانادا شركت داشت و پس از راه يافتن به مرحله پاياني و گروه 5 نفره ي فيناليستهاي دختر شايسته امسال، در پايان  دختر شايسته كانادا شد.  
وى  دومين دختر ايراني است كه به مقام دختر شايسته كانادا دست مي يابد.

 دو سال پيش نازنين افشين جم كه او هم از ونكوور در اين مسابقات شركت كرده بود اين عنوان را به دست آورد.
رامونا اميري دختر زيباروي  فارغ التحصيل رشته ي بيولوژي از دانشگاه بريتيش كلمبيا ست و علاقمند است در آينده به كار مادرش كه متخصص پوست است، بپردازد.
رامونا اميري به زبانهاي انگليسي، فرانسه، آسوري و فارسي تسلط كامل دارد و كمي هم زبان اسپانيولي ميداند. در حال حاضر به عنوان مدل مشغول به كار است.

Vancouver's own Nazanin Afshin-Jam was crowned Miss World Canada 2003 at a glamourous fashion event at The Courthouse in Toronto. Since winning the title on October 22, Canada's queen of beauty has had an extremely busy schedule, which culminated with her departure for Hong Kong, where she began her journey as Canada's official representative in the Miss World Contest. Nazanin competed with 105 other national winners in Miss World 2003, which has secured its place in both the headlines and the record books as
the largest pageant in history! Nazanin finished as first runner-up in the event, and also won the "Queen of the Americas" and "Miss Sport" titles.
